Piedmont Progressive
Nature and Arts Summer Camps
for the young mind, body and spirit
Children need play! Piedmont Progressive is offering 7 weeks of camps during the summer of 2014. Our play-based curriculum provokes children to think, create and problem solve. We are nestled in a woodsy setting with nature trails and a winding creek, where children can play and explore. Each week children will have endless opportunities to use many different art materials including clay, wood, collage, and fiber art as well as cooking activities. Indoor and outdoor centers include materials for fine and large motor skills including art, science, dramatic play, writing/print, books, construction, and sensory. Our camps are multi-age and offer a curriculum that will engage children at many different levels. We keep the ages, ability level and group interests in mind while planning each day’s activities.
