Our small school community offers class sizes with lower numbers and extended time outside.
Our warm inviting indoor classrooms are welcoming and establish a home space with enriching natural materials and cozy imaginative areas
for learning. The outdoors is our extended classroom learning environment. We enjoy spending most of our days outside on our natural playground and the beautiful surrounding forest, with trees for shade on hot days and winding trails and creek for childhood adventures.
We welcome you to visit and see for yourself the beautiful journey.
Piedmont Progressive Preschool is a program for young children in the University Area.
We are pleased to offer a special curriculum for two-through five-year-olds
under the guidance of qualified, experienced teachers.
*Child Centered *Emphasis on nature and arts *Days spent outdoors *forest and creek play
*Self-directed, discovery learning *Experienced caring teachers
Non-sectarian
How to Register:
Each family interested in our school must come for an in-person tour of our school.
Families who are relocating to the area can have a telephone interview and visit as soon as possible.
We want to make sure our school is a comfortable fit for everyone.
