Summer Day Camps
for the young mind , body and spirit


Camps will include free choice activities for children to explore and work at their own pace as well as group activities, discussions, storytelling, books and outdoor play. Children should pack a water bottle, lunch, change of clothes and a towel and a bathing suit for water play day. Please apply sunscreen on your child before bringing them to camp.

Exploration Camp
for preschool age children (must be toilet trained)

Into the Woods
June 4-7, 9:30am-12:30 (M-Th)

Cost is $85
When you go out in the woods… you’re in for a big surprise! Children will enjoy outdoor play with walks on the woodsy trail, climbing and swinging on the playground as well as classroom centers with storytelling, songs and movement, art activities, and dramatic play.



Discovery Camps
for children from preschool age to rising 1st grader.
(Preschool children must be toilet trained)
Camps meet Monday thru Thursday from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. Cost is $110 per week.

Peace Out
June 18-21

Tie dye tambourines and flower power!
Get back to basics with fabric dyeing, weaving, making bead jewelry, walks in the woods, and dancing to the beat of your own music! Let your individuality shine.

Peppy Paleontologists
July 9-12

Do you get excited about dinosaurs? Campers will sift through fossil dirt to find and identify real fossils. Make your own fossils from things that we find on our outdoor expeditions. Each day we will create dinosaur inspired art as well as making our own erupting volcano and much more!

Days of Knights
July 16-19

Knights and dragons, castles and royalty……ride into the realm of fun and fantasy, fairy tales and history to hear tales of strength and valor. Build castles and dress up as your favorite character and role play with costumes and props.

Stir it up
July 30-August 2

Each day brings activities in cooking. Our little chefs will work together preparing and cooking foods to eat and share as well as food for the birds and our furry friends at home. Daily activities will include imaginary play (kitchen and restaurant), endless art projects, sewing, caring for the foods growing in the garden, composting and growing beans to plant at home. Bon appétit!

Construction Zone
August 6-9

Who likes to build? Put on your hard hats and safety glasses! Every day the classroom and playground will become a construction zone. We will build with legos, knex, bristle blocks and wood unit blocks as well as many other materials. Children will have opportunities to create 3-D art wood gluing, box construction, recycled junk collage as well as temporary construction outdoors.



Big Kids Camp
Suggested age is rising 2nd grader and older
Camps meet Monday thru Thursday from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. Cost is $130 per week.
These camps are designed for older children who are ready to learn new skills with more guided instruction. We will break for lunch and to go outside and play or hike.

Beginning Ceramics
June 25-28

Children will learn to wedge clay, roll out slabs, cut, score, create texture and create their own works of art while learning the basics of hand building. Their pieces will be fired and picked up at a later date. They will also learn to keep a sketch book and work with other types of clay and sculpture.

Shining Chefs
July 30-August 2

This class is designed for a small group of students to work together to prep, measure and prepare foods. Students will read recipes, plan meals, prepare and cook recipes using kitchen tools such as graters, measuring cups/spoons, whisks, cutting and peeling tools. Each day they will prepare and taste their own creations.
